Well Stosser died but all is not lost because I'm still here in Mega! (sigh)
(*+--------------------------------------------------------------------------+*)
Sod's Law
(*+---+*)
Right here's a new one for you.
Why is it that when a pair of headphones/amplifier speakers (or anything
connected with producing sound) go on the blink, it's always the right side
first?
(*+--------------------------------------------------------------------------+*)
Anyone for Tennis?
(*+------------+*)
Well its come to that time of year again (although it will of passed by the time
you read this), what I'm I talking about? Wimbledon.
Yes Wimbledon, everyone has a sudden urge to go and play tennis, the heavens
open up and it buckets it down, Cliff Richard 'entertains' the crowds during no
play but possibly the worst thing of all, BBC 2 temporarily stops showing Star
Trek!
AAAAARRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!
I don't mind the game itself or the actual Wimbledon season especially when the
women are playing) but it's the BBC's insistence of playing around with it's
Star Trek schedule. STOP IT!
(*+--------------------------------------------------------------------------+*)
Sod's Law 2 - The Revenge
(*+-------------------+*)
Why is it that when you tear off a piece of toilet paper, it's never straight
across the pre-cut 'dotted' line?
(*+--------------------------------------------------------------------------+*)
Blackcurrant Jam
(*+----------+*)
Am I jammy or what? Back in March I book in my holidays for two weeks to start
on the 7th July. Even though I had no where booked in the form of a holiday to
go during the two weeks I thought I would spend the time with days out etc.
My fellow colleagues had there time off, went of to the sun while it bucketed it
down here in the North East of England I was beginning to doubt my two weeks
off.
However come the day, the clouds parted and down came the sun, I can still get a
tan etc. and I didn't have to spend a penny! When I'm lying down on the patio in
the back garden I think of my colleagues sweating in the office up to there
necks in work and then I think.....
HA! HA! SUCKERS!
(*+--------------------------------------------------------------------------+*)
Did you hear about the man who robbed shops who had a keen interest in sheep?
Brought a whole new meaning to ram raiding (bom, bom, tissssshhhhhhhh).
(*+--------------------------------------------------------------------------+*)
Must finish now, have to get this off to Chris But first one or two things to
consider :-
The lifespan of an Amiga is 12 years.
If you buy a PC now you will still be able to play the latest games 2 years
later.
I'm a sex god.
John Major is the best thing that's happened to this country .
